Tim Walsh, President and General Manager

As President of TADERA, Tim Walsh is responsible for the services TADERA delivers to its airport, transit, federal, state, and DOT clients. Tim is an Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) with 30+ years’ experience managing all facets of airport issues including strategy development, IT projects, operations, engineering, design, construction, planning, security, commercial airline recruitment, FAA compliance, compatible land use, noise, AIP grant funding, minimum standards and aviation/non-aviation revenue development. Prior to joining TADERA, Tim served as both an Airport Manager and Director, overseeing some of the busiest general aviation and reliever airports in the country, including Hayward Air Terminal, Santa Monica Airport, and eight airports in San Diego County. He has managed all facets of aviation issues, including FAA compliance, strategy development, IT projects, operations, engineering, design, and security.

Tim is involved in client on-site IT systems training and serves as an active participant in TADERA’s bi-annual Airport Master Record seminars. During his tenure, Tim has restructured the AirportIQ Software suite of products, including the Revenue Management System to be positioned as the market leader running the back office of large international airports including JFK, LGA, EWR, ATL, and SFO.
